Nine developments on Cape Town's Atlantic seaboard — two flagship recent schemes, a clifftop villa on the slopes of Lion's Head and a private pool-apartment scheme in Fresnaye, alongside a track record of seven further residential developments.
Completed in 2018, Top Road is a high-end villa built into one of Cape Town's most challenging sites — a steep, complicated plot on the slopes of Lion's Head, in Fresnaye. The gradient that ruled the site out for most developers is exactly what makes it exceptional: the house is arranged over multiple levels that step down the hillside, with principal rooms, the pool terrace and the rooftop entertaining deck all opening onto uninterrupted views across the Atlantic Ocean. Every element was finished to the highest specification, from book-matched natural stone and bespoke joinery to a glass-walled wine cellar and a cantilevered infinity pool that appears to spill into the ocean beyond.

AON Prop acquired a property in Fresnaye, Cape Town, with an existing house on the site, and secured planning consent to redevelop it into five private apartments. Each of the five — one two-bedroom and four three-bedroom homes — was designed with its own private swimming pool, supplied by AquaVita Pools, and views out over the Atlantic Ocean. The scheme sold out entirely off-plan.

Alongside Top Road and Avenue St Charles, AON Prop has delivered seven further residential developments across Cape Town's Atlantic seaboard.
A development of three homes — a 5-bedroom house and two 4-bedroom semi-detached houses — each with its own pool and sea views.
Two 3-bedroom apartments added on top of an existing building.
Two separate developments, each delivering four 3-bedroom apartments.
Two 5-bedroom houses built as a single development.
Two 3-bedroom apartments.
