Built to cut out the middlemen.
AON Source didn't start as a business plan — it started as a problem on our own development sites.
When AON Prop was sourcing materials for its own developments, we kept hitting the same wall: good-quality product, at a fair price, was hard to find locally. Every supply chain we looked at was stacked with middlemen — agents, distributors, resellers — each adding their own margin before the goods ever reached site. It was driving costs up on every project we built.
So we went looking for the source. We tracked down the actual manufacturers behind the products developments need — structural materials, fixtures, fittings, finishes and everything in between — and in most cases, found them. Over time we've built direct relationships with a whole network of factories across the world: no agents, no unnecessary layers, just a straight line from factory floor to site.
What began as procurement for our own schemes quickly turned into something bigger. Other developers and wholesalers started asking where we were sourcing from, and what we were paying. So we started consulting — bringing those same direct factory relationships and pricing to other people's developments. The savings were substantial: in some cases enough to turn a scheme from marginal into genuinely profitable.
Today, AON Source works on a consultancy basis with developers and contractors across Europe/UK, UAE and Africa, embedding directly with their procurement and sourcing teams to secure better products at prices that move the needle on profitability. We're not selling a theory — we've already proven the model on our own developments, and we bring that same track record to every client we work with.
